Two Full Scholarships: Stipendium Hungaricum

Two Globstudy Students Win Fully Funded Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarships to Hungary

Congratulations to Inara and Mekhrangiz on securing fully funded Stipendium Hungaricum scholarships to study in Hungary from Fall 2026!

The Students and Their Universities

Inara has been admitted to Budapest Business University, one of Hungary's leading public institutions for business and economics, located in the heart of the Hungarian capital.

Mekhrangiz will be studying Computer Science at Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, a well-established Hungarian institution with a growing reputation in technology and STEM programs.

What the Stipendium Hungaricum Covers

The Stipendium Hungaricum is a fully funded scholarship program offered by the Hungarian government to international students. The package covers full tuition fees, medical insurance, university accommodation, and a monthly stipend of 43,700 HUF. It is one of the most comprehensive government scholarship programs available to students from Uzbekistan and a genuine pathway to a European university education at no cost.

It is worth noting that Inara also received admission to Korea University this cycle, one of South Korea's elite SKY universities, and chose KU over her Hungarian scholarship offer. A reminder that Stipendium Hungaricum is competitive enough to sit alongside offers from some of the world's top universities.

Applications for Fall 2027 Open Soon

The Stipendium Hungaricum application window for the Fall 2027 semester opens on November 15 and closes on January 15. That is a narrow window, and preparation needs to begin well before November. University selection, documents, motivation letters, and language requirements all need to be in order before the portal opens.

For students interested in Europe who want a fully funded option, this is one of the strongest opportunities available from Uzbekistan each year.
