Getting into HIT Shenzhen is competitive, especially for engineering programs. Farzona shared that strong academic performance, standardized test scores like IELTS or SAT, and a well-prepared application are key factors.

She applied to multiple top universities globally, including:

• Shanghai Jiao Tong University

• Hong Kong Polytechnic University

• University of Bristol

Ultimately, she chose HIT Shenzhen for its strong engineering focus and opportunities in China’s growing tech ecosystem. She also got full scholarship from HIT Shenzhen.
