Roundtable Discussion with HKUST

Globstudy joins HKUST in a roundtable discussion on improving higher education and research collaboration.

On September 24, 2025, INNO Technopark organized a roundtable conference between Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Guangzhou (QS #44) and institutions in Uzbekistan. Globstudy representatives also took part in this historic meeting to contribute ideas to the discussion of research and higher education collaboration between China and Uzbekistan.

Among the participants were Mr. Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Mr. Sun, Education Counsellor of China Embassy, Mr. Vladimir Norov, Former Foreign Minister and current Chairman of AICA, Prof. Lionel M. Ni, President of HKUST Guangzhou campus, and rectors and professors from Uzbekistani universities and HKUST.

Globstudy has been playing an important role in promoting higher education and short-term training programs in China. Annually, more than 30 of our students are admitted to top 10 universities of China with full or partial scholarships, including Shanghai JiaoTong, Peking, Fudan, HIT, Xi’an JiaoTong. Since 2024, we have also been hosting professional training programs with top research universities in Chongqing, Shanghai, and Beijing.

This roundtable highlighted the strong potential for innovation, joint programs and research partnerships. Globstudy will continue to work closely with Chinese and Hong Kong universities such as HKUST to turn these ideas into concrete projects that benefit both nations’ academic communities.
