SHOU Summer School in Shanghai 2026

Globstudy is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for people interested in a short-term Chinese language learning and marine research experience! In partnership with Shanghai Ocean University (SHOU), we invite you to apply to Shanghai Summer School (Marine Sustainability Program) - a fully funded summer program taking place in Shanghai, China from May 28 to June 13, 2026.

Who can apply

This program is designed for international students, teachers or professionals, between 16 and 35 years old, who want to gain cutting-edge knowledge in marine research and learn Chinese language.

Application Information

• 📅 Program Duration: May 28 – June 13, 2026

• 📥 Application Deadline: March 10, 2026

• ✅ Age Limit: 16-35 y.o.

• 💯 Quota: 10 scholarship seats + 20 self-funded seats

• 🇬🇧 Must have B2 proficiency in English language

• 💵 Consulting Registration Fee: $250 (must be paid by application deadline)

Important note:

In total, there are 30 seats available. Only 10 of them are fully funded. Scholarship covers all program-related costs, including tuition fee, insurance, accommodation, and meals by Shanghai Government and the university. However, flight tickets, consulting fee, visa costs, and personal expenses are not covered.

Required Documents

To apply, send the following documents with application by March 10, 2026:

• Copy of passport valid for traveling

• Recent photo (3.5cm by 4.5cm)

• CV / Resume

• Certificate of non-criminal record (from my.gov.uz for Uzbekistan citizens) translated to Chinese

• Foreign physical health examination form (medical certificate)

• Enrollment verification and transcripts from your university (if currently studying)

• Proof of employment (if currently working)

• Application form (we’ll assist you after initial contact)

• Guardian letter (if under 18)
